Even if you only have just one flight to climb, climbing up and down it during the day is a great way to get extra exercise.
Pick water over other refreshments. Soda and coffee, when used in small amounts, aren't that bad. Using them for your only source of hydration, conversely, is dumb. When you pick out water more than other beverages you are helping your body remain very healthful and hydrated. This also helps you lower your caloric intake by hundreds of points without having to buy and eat terrible diet foods. Water is typically one of the keys to really losing weight and becoming really healthy.
There are plenty of things you can go after to become healthy. Intensive gym visits and narrowly defined diets are not always the answer.
