Obviously this isn’t as plausible if you work on the 25th floor of a high rise, but if you work on the fourth, climbing the stairs is a great way to get some exercise in. Even if you do live or work on one of the higher floors, you can still get out of the elevator first and climb up the stairs the rest of the way. Lots of people opt for the easy elevator ride instead of making an attempt on the stairs. Even if you only have a single flight to climb, climbing up and down it during the day is a great way to get extra exercise.

Drink water, not other beverages. Soda and coffee, when ingested in small amounts, aren't that bad. Getting all your hydration from them is a horrendous idea. Choosing water instead of other beverage adds to your body's health and allows it stay hydrated. You’re also cutting hundreds of calories out of your diet— without having to resort to terrible tasting diet food. Water is ordinarily one of the keys to really slimming down and leading a healthful lifestyle.

There are all kinds of things that you can do to get healthy. An overpriced gym membership and very restrictive diets are not the only way to do it. Little things, when done each day, can do plenty to help you get healthy and lose pounds. Being clever when you choose your food and activities is where it begins. A good amount of physical activity each day is also critical. The numbers on the scale aren't the only indication of your health levels. It has more to do with making your body as strong as it can be.

Hot Chocolate

Ingredients of Hot Chocolate

  1. Prepare 1 cup of full cream milk.
  2. You need 1 cup of cream.
  3. It's 4 tsp of milk powder.
  4. Prepare 6 tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder.
  5. You need 1/4 bar of dark chocolate.
  6. It's 1/4 tsp of vanilla essence.
  7. You need 4 tsp of Nutella(optional).
  8. It's 1 inch of cinnamon stick(optional).
  9. You need 1 pinch of salt.
  10. Prepare as needed of Sugar(if you’re not adding Nutella).

Hot Chocolate instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine milk, milk powder and cream and warm it up on low heat. Put in the cinnamon stick for it to release some flavour..
  2. Add bits of dark chocolate(the more the cocoa content, the darker it’ll get) and cocoa powder in a bowl, and add in one tablespoon of the hot milk in the saucepan to it. Mix with a whisk and ensure that there are no lumps..
  3. Now slowly pour the contents of the bowl into the saucepan and keep stirring..
  4. Add the vanilla and you’ll gradually see that the mixture will start to thicken. That’s because of the milk powder and cocoa powder. However, if it is not thick enough as per your choice, then in a separate bowl, mix 1/2 tsp cornstarch and 2 tsp water and then add this to the saucepan. This will thicken it immediately..
  5. After simmering for around 10 minutes, you can remove the cinnamon stick..
  6. Add Nutella to the saucepan now. This is what I used as the sweetener. However, if unavailable, simply replace it with 3-4 tsp of regular white sugar..
  7. Add a tiny pinch of salt to the mixture and you’re rich, creamy and delicious hot chocolate is ready to serve. Top it up with some marshmallows or with s’mores, or enjoy it as it is..
  8. Pro-Tip: I chose to get a hint of cinnamon in the hot chocolate but you can easily replace it with star anise and it’ll taste equally good. If you have an adventurous palate, then I’the recommend adding a bit of ginger and/or red chilli powder(a very tiny pinch). You can spike it up, too, with either Baileys or rum..
