Chicken adobo

Ingredients of Chicken adobo

  1. You need 1 kg of chicken.
  2. You need 1/3 cup of soy sauce.
  3. You need 1/3 cup of vinegar.
  4. You need 6 cloves of garlic (chopped).
  5. You need 1 tsp of peppercorns.
  6. Prepare 3-5 pcs of bay leaf.
  7. It's 1 tbsp of sugar (optional).

Chicken adobo instructions

  1. Mix everything.
  2. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  3. Boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Simmer in low heat for 20 minutes, while turning chicken to cook evenly every 5 minutes. When sauce is almost dry. Turn off heat and serve with warm rice.
  5. (Optional) Can fry lightly fry the chicken before cooking with the marinate.
