Broccoli Soup

Ingredients of Broccoli Soup

  1. Prepare 1 cup of chopped onion.
  2. You need 2 of garlic cloves.
  3. It's 3 cup of less sodium chicken broth.
  4. You need 16 oz of broccoli.
  5. You need 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour.
  6. You need 1/4 tsp of black pepper.
  7. It's 8 oz of light cheese cubed.

Broccoli Soup instructions

  1. Cook onion and garlic in a saucepan over medium heat high for 3 minutes.
  2. Add broth and broccoli and bring mixture to boil.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and cook 10 minutes.
  4. Combine milk and flour, blend well and add to the saucepan.
  5. Cook 5 minutes, stir constantly.
  6. Stir in pepper, remove from heat and melt cheese in.
  7. Place 1/3 of the soup in a blender and then put it back in the saucepan.

Preptime: 18 Minutes

Cooktime: 42 Minutes

Serve: 2 Persons
