Run the stairs. Walk up the stairs to where you live or work as an alternative to using the elevator. Obviously this isn’t as plausible if you work on the 25th floor of a high rise, but if you work on the fourth, climbing the stairs is a great way to get some exercise in. Even if you do live or work on one of the higher floors, you can still get off of the elevator first and climb up the stairs the rest of the way. Lots of people opt for the easy elevator ride instead of making an attempt on the stairs. That just one flight of stairs—when taken a handful of times a day—can be just the additional boost that your system needs.

Choose water over other refreshments. Soda and coffee, when ingested in moderation, aren't that bad. It will be, however, a bad idea to exclusively drink soda or coffee. Ingesting water instead of other kinds of drinks is a good way to help your body in its health and hydration. You’re also cutting hundreds of calories away from your diet— without having to deal with terrible tasting diet food. Water is usually one of the keys to really slimming down and getting healthy.

There are a whole lot of things that contribute to your getting healthy. An overpriced gym membership and very restrictive diets are not the only way to do it. It is the little things you choose on a daily basis that really help you with weight loss and getting healthy. Make smart choices every day is a great start. Wanting to get in as much exercise as possible is another. The numbers on the scale aren't the only indication of your lifestyle choices. It’s about making your body as sturdy as it can be.

Ingredients of Watermelon Punch
