Make sure that what you already have is healthful. In this way, even when you decide that you want something greasy or not super nutritous, you will still be choosing items that are healthier for you than you would probably choose while running into a store or fast food restaurant.

Go up the stairs. Instead of choosing the elevator, ascend the stairs to your floor. Obviously this isn’t as plausible if you work on the 25th floor of a high rise, but if you work on the fourth, climbing the stairs is a fantastic way to get some exercise in. Even if your office or home is on one of the highest floors, you can choose to get off of the elevator early and take the stairs the remainder of the way. Lots of people opt for the easy elevator ride instead of making an efforts on the stairs. Even just a single flight of stairs, when travelled up or down a few times a day--can be a great improvement to your system.

Water is the best beverage out there. Drinking a soda or cup of coffee once in awhile won't hurt you too badly. It will be, however, a bad idea to exclusively drink soda or coffee. Choosing water as opposed to other beverage adds to your body's health and helps it stay hydrated. You’re also cutting hundreds of calories away from your diet— without having to be forced to eat terrible tasting diet food. Effective weight loss efforts often depend solely on water consumption.

There are many things you can pursue to become healthy. An costly gym membership and very restrictive diets are not the only way to do it. It is the little things you choose each day that really help you with weight loss and becoming healthy. Being intelligent when you choose your food and routines is where it begins. A suitable amount of physical activity each day is also necessary. The numbers on the scale aren't the only indication of your lifestyle choices. It is more about making your body as powerful as it can be.

Khaman Waffle

Ingredients of Khaman Waffle

  1. You need 1 cup of besan/gram flour.
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp of rava/sooji.
  3. It's 1/2 tsp of ginger paste.
  4. You need 2 of green chilli finely chopped.
  5. It's 1/4 tsp of Haldi/Turmeric powder.
  6. It's 1 tsp of sugar.
  7. It's 1 pinch of Hing/asafoetida.
  8. You need to taste of Salt.
  9. You need 1 tsp of lemon juice.
  10. Prepare 1 tbsp of oil.
  11. It's As needed of Water.
  12. You need of For tempering.
  13. Prepare 1/2 tsp of eno fruit salt.
  14. Prepare 3 tsp of oil.
  15. Prepare 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
  16. It's 1 tsp of sesame seeds.
  17. It's 1 pinch of Hing/asafoetida.
  18. Prepare 1 tsp of curry leaves.
  19. You need 2 of green chilli slit.
  20. Prepare 1/4 cup of water.
  21. You need 1 tbsp of sugar.
  22. Prepare 1 tsp of lemon juice.
  23. It's 1/4 tsp of salt.
  24. You need of For garnishing.
  25. It's 2 tbsp of cheese grated.
  26. It's 2 tbsp of coriander leaves.

Khaman Waffle instructions

  1. In a large bowl sieve besan and rava. Add ginger paste, green chilli, haldi, sugar, hing and oil and lemon juice..
  2. Prepare a smooth batter adding necessary water..
  3. Just before making the waffles add the fruit salt and mix gently..
  4. You can alternatively use a pinch of baking soda..
  5. Preheat a waffle iron machine according to it's manual..
  6. Apply little oil on waffle plate. Immediately pour batter into the waffle plates and spread evenly..
  7. Put some oil over the batter and close the lid..
  8. Let the waffles for atleast 5-7 minutes until nicely golden..
  9. Remove it from the waffle maker..
  10. Tempering :- heat oil and add mustard seeds, sesame seeds and pinch of hing also..
  11. Add green chilli, few curry leaves and allow to splutter. Further add 2 tsp water and sugar and salt and mix well and boil the water well..
  12. Add lemon juice and mix well. Pour the tempering over waffle..
  13. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and grated cheese..
  14. Serve with garlic, red chilli chutney and green chutney..

Preptime: 37 Minutes

Cooktime: 39 Minutes

Serve: 4 Persons
