Walk up the stairs. Stroll up the stairs to where you live or work as opposed to using the elevator. While this will be tough to do if you live on or if your job is on a seriously high level floor in a skyscraper, taking the stairs to a home or office on, say, the fifth floor is entirely do-able. If you do work on a super high floor, why not get off the elevator a few floors earlier and walk the rest of the way? Lots of people choose the easy elevator ride instead of making an effort on the stairs. Even if you only have a single flight to climb, climbing down and up it during the day is a great way to get additional exercise.

Water is the very best drinks out there. Having a soda or a cup of coffee every now and then isn’t a terrible idea. It will be, however, a bad idea to only drink soda or coffee. When you choose water over other beverages you are helping your body stay very healthy and hydrated. You’re also cutting hundreds of calories away from your diet— without having to be forced to eat terrible tasting diet food. Water is typically one of the keys to really slimming down and leading a healthful lifestyle.

There are a whole lot of things that work toward your getting healthy. Not all of them require fancy gym memberships or restricted diets. Little things, when done every day, can do plenty to make it easier to get healthy and lose pounds. Being intelligent when you choose your food and routines is where it begins. A good amount of physical activity each day is also critical. Don't ignore that health isn't only about just how much you weigh. It’s about making your body as sturdy as it can be.

  2. Peel and cut the potatoes into bite size pieces. Put potatoes into a bowl of water wash potatoes until starch comes off, about two or three times, then put potatoes into a pot. Add water cook until about fork tender.
  3. Next cut chicken into bite size pieces and add to the crock pot. When potatoes are almost about fork tender add to crock pot..
  4. Next open the cans of pinto beans, green chile enchilada sauce and the green chilies and put into crock pot. Stir everything.

  6. Add the cheese the last thirty minutes Stir in cheese so the cheese will melt. Serve over rice.
