If you do work on a extremely high floor, why not get off the elevator a few floors earlier and walk the rest of the way? Lots of people choose the easy elevator ride instead of making an effort on the stairs. That just one flight of stairs—when taken a handful of times a day—can be just the added boost that your system needs.

Choose water over other drinks. Having a soda or a cup of coffee every now and then isn’t a terrible idea. Getting all your hydration from them is a terrible idea. When you choose water more than other beverages you are helping your body stay very healthful and hydrated. This also helps you lower your caloric intake by hundreds of points without having to buy and eat disgusting diet foods. Water is usually one of the keys to really losing weight and getting healthy.

There are a whole lot of things that factor into getting healthy. Extensive gym visits and directly defined diets are not always the solution. It is the little things you choose day after day that really help you with weight loss and getting healthy. Being smart about the decisions you make each day is a start. Wanting to get in as much physical activity as possible is another. Don't forget that health isn't only about just how much you weigh. It has more to do with making your body as powerful as it can be.
