While this will be hard to do if you live on or if your job is on a super high level floor in a skyscraper, taking the stairs to a home or office on, say, the fifth floor is totally do-able. If you do work on a very high floor, why not get off the elevator a few floors early and walk the rest of the way? Most people will decide to be idle and take an elevator instead of opting for exercise on the stairs. Even just a sole flight of stairs, when travelled up or down a few times a day--can be a great boost to your system.
Choose water over other drinks. Drinking a soda or cup of coffee once in awhile won't hurt you too badly. Using them for your only source of hydration, conversely, is dumb. Choosing water as an alternative to other beverage adds to your body's health and helps it stay hydrated. Doing this helps you cut hundreds of calories out of your diet without your having to suffer through a bunch of gross diet food. Productive weight loss efforts often depend exclusively on water ingestion.
There are all sorts of activities that you can do to get healthy. Not all of them necessitate fancy gym memberships or limited diets.
