Ingredients of Simple vanilla cake

  1. You need 250 g of all purpose flour.
  2. It's 80 g of sugar.
  3. You need 100 g of butter/margarine.
  4. You need 1 tsp of baking powder.
  5. You need 1/2 cup of butter milk.
  6. It's 2 of eggs.
  7. It's 1 tsp of vanilla essence.
  8. You need of For decoration.
  9. Prepare of Whipping cream.
  10. It's of Yellow colour.
  11. You need of Blue colour.

  1. Prepare your baking tin.....preheat oven to 180degrees......mix baking powder with flour and sift together..
  2. Whisk/beat butter and sugar together till fluffy.....add in egg one by one while beating till fully incorporated.
  3. Add in vanilla essence, fold in flour while alternating with butter milk.....pour into your baking tin.....and bake for 60mins or until the skewer comes out clean......wait for it to cool for 15mins before removing from the tin......wait it to cool completely before decorating it......
  4. For decoration...... Beat whipping cream to stiff peaks.....add colours of your choice and decorate as desired.....!!.
