If you do work on a very high floor, why not get off the elevator a couple of floors early and walk the rest of the way? So many people choose the elevator over climbing even a single flight of stairs. Even if you only have one flight to climb, climbing down and up it during the day is a great way to get extra exercise.
Water is the most effective beverage out there. Having a soda or a cup of coffee every occasionally isn’t a bad idea. Getting all of your hydration from them is a terrible idea. Choosing water as an alternative to other beverage adds to your body's health and allows it stay hydrated. You’re also cutting hundreds of calories away from your diet— without having to resort to terrible tasting diet food. Productive weight loss efforts often depend entirely on water intake.
There are a good deal of things that factor into getting healthy. An overpriced gym membership and very hard to stick to diets are not the only way to do it. It is the little things you choose each day that really help you with weight loss and becoming healthy. Being smart about the decisions you make each day is a start. A proper amount of physical activity each day is also important. The numbers on the scale aren't the only indication of your lifestyle choices. It is more about making your body as powerful as it can be.
