Seafood Paella

.

Prior to we get started, I wanted to let you know about The Simple Ways to Be Healthy.

Everybody knows that in order to truly be healthy you need to eat a wholesome and balanced diet and get a proper amount of exercise. Unfortunately, we do not always have the time or the power that this type of lifestyle involves. Going to the gym isn't something people decide to do when they get off from work. A hot, grease laden burger is usually our food of choice and not a crunchy green salad (unless we are vegetarians). You should be pleased to learn that getting healthy doesn't always have to be super hard work. If you are persistent you'll get all of the activity and healthy food choices you need. Here are some simple ways to get healthy.

Make smart choices when grocery shopping. If you make smart decisions when you are buying your groceries, you will be eating better meals by default. Think about it: you aren’t going to want to deal with a chaotic store or a long drive through line at the end of the day. You want to go to your house and make something from your kitchen. Make sure that what you have at home is nutritious. This way—even if you decide on something a little greasy or not as good for you as it could be, you’re still picking foods that are better for you than you would get at the local diner or fast food drive through window.

Climb stairs. Rather than using an elevator, take the stairs to the floor you live or work on. While this will be tough to do if you live on or if your job is on a extremely high level floor in a skyscraper, taking the stairs to a home or office on, say, the fifth floor is entirely do-able. Even if you do live or work on one of the upper floors, you can still get off of the elevator early and climb up the stairs the rest of the way. Lots of people choose the easy elevator ride instead of making an efforts on the stairs. That one flight of stairs—when taken a few times a day—can be just the extra boost that your system needs.

Water is the very best beverage out there. Having a soda or cup of coffee every so often won't hurt you too badly. It is, however, a bad idea to exclusively drink soda or coffee. Ingesting water instead of other kinds of drinks is a good way to aid your body in its health and hydration. Doing this helps you cut hundreds of calories out of your diet without your having to suffer through a bunch of gross diet food. Effective weight loss efforts often depend entirely on water consumption.

There are a lot of things that contribute to your getting healthy. Not all of them require fancy gym memberships or limited diets. It is the little things you choose day after day that really help you with weight loss and getting healthy. Being smart about the selections you make each day is a start. Trying to get in as much physical exercise as possible is another. Don't forget that health isn't only about just how much you weigh. You really want your body to be powerful too.

Okay, eventually! Here is your recipe currently. Thanks for looking through my report, remember to share this recipe to your family, your buddies, neighbours, etcetera. Possess a pleasant day.

Seafood Paella instructions

  1. Prep all ingredients before your guests arrive. Assemble them next to the braai until you are ready..
  2. In a jug, mix together the wine and stock. Add the saffron and salt. Let the flavours marry for as long as possible..
  3. When the braai is ready, place a big paella pan on the grid. Heat the olive oil in that pan. Add the onion and red pepper and cook it until the onion is translucent. Stir in the garlic and chorizo and cook until fragrant..
  4. Add the rice. Cook, stirring for 5 minutes until the rice is toasted and coated in the oil, onion and pepper mix..
  5. Stir in the stock, tomatoes, peas and paprika. Taste for seasoning and add more salt, if necessary..
  6. Spread the rice evenly over the bottom of the pan. Cover the pan with foil and simmer the rice without stirring for 15 minutes, or until the rice absorbs most of the liquid. It's important not to stir the rice, even though you may want to. You want to create a crust at the bottom. If it starts to look too dry, add some water/wine, but not too much and DON'T stir..
  7. Add the seafood, nestle it nicely into the rice. Cover with foil and let the seafood and rice cook. This should take about 10 minutes..
  8. Remove the foil, check that the liquid is absorbed, that everything is cooked and adjust the seasoning, if necessary..
  9. Finally, check to see if the elusive 'socarrat' was created. This is the golden brown crust at the bottom of the pan. If you can, wait to see if you can create the crust, if not - better luck next time....
  10. Sprinkle with parsley and bring the whole pan to the table. Serve with lemons, chilli, more parsley and a lot more wine..
  11. Thanks simplyrecipes.com for the inspo.
