Even if your office or home is on one of the top floors, you can decide to get off of the elevator early and take the stairs the remainder of the way. Most people will choose to be sluggish and take an elevator instead of getting exercise on the stairs. Even just a sole flight of stairs, when walked up or down a few times a day--can be a great improvement to your system.
Drink water, not other drinks. Having a soda or a cup of coffee every once in a while isn’t a bad idea. Using them for your only source of hydration, on the other hand, is dumb. When you choose water more than other beverages you are helping your body stay very healthy and hydrated. You’re also cutting hundreds of calories from your diet— without having to resort to terrible tasting diet food. Water is ordinarily one of the keys to really slimming down and becoming really healthy.
There are all sorts of things that you can do to get wholesome. Extensive gym visits and directly defined diets are not always the answer.
