Even if your office or home is on one of the top floors, you can decide to get off of the elevator early and take the stairs the rest of the way. Most people will decide to be lazy and take an elevator instead of getting exercise on the stairs. Even if you only have a single flight to climb, climbing up and down it during the day is a great way to get extra exercise.

Drink water, not alternative beverages. Sipping a soda or cup of coffee every so often won't hurt you too badly. Getting all your hydration from them is a awful idea. When you decide on water more than other beverages you are helping your body remain very healthful and hydrated. You’re also cutting hundreds of calories from your diet— without having to be forced to eat terrible tasting diet food. Water is usually one of the keys to really reducing your weight and leading a healthful lifestyle.
