Even if your office or home is on one of the top floors, you can choose to get off of the elevator early and take the stairs the remainder of the way. Lots of people opt for the easy elevator ride instead of making an attempt on the stairs. That one flight of stairsโwhen taken a several times a dayโcan be just the additional boost that your system needs.
Drink water, not other beverages. Soda and coffee, when used in small amounts, aren't that bad. Getting all your hydration from them is a terrible idea. Choosing water instead of other beverage adds to your body's health and helps it stay hydrated. This also helps you decrease your caloric intake by hundreds of points without having to buy and eat terrible diet foods. Water is typically one of the keys to really slimming down and getting healthy.
There are all kinds of things that you can do to get healthy. Not all of them demand fancy gym memberships or restricted diets. You can do little things each day to improve upon your health and lose weight. Being intelligent about the selections you make each day is a start.
